Race For The Cure

Well, today was a special day for me and my family. I have been very active with Relay for Life for about 4 years now. When I first began I had no clue what Relay was and not one person in my family had cancer. I met a great friend at Relay that first year and 2 years later she passed away from cancer. Since then My mother n law had breast cancer, my father n law has passed with colon cancer, my husband had cancer cells removed from his neck and a few months ago my aunt susan found out she had breast cancer. This really hit my hard and made me think just how one day can change in a heart beat. Today we got together and raised money for Breast cancer research by doing the Race for the Cure.
